Experiences stay with us long after things are forgotten or replaced. A professional photo session is a gift unlike any other. It's an invitation to slow down, be seen, and walk away with something genuinely priceless - a piece of real life, beautifully preserved. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, a honeymoon, or simply someone you love, a photo session is a gift they will return to again and again.

How to order a gift card

Ordering a gift card is simple, but there are a few important things to know.

1. A gift card is valid for one specific city only

When purchasing a gift card, you choose the city where the photoshoot will take place. The gift card can only be used in that selected location.

2. A gift card is valid for three years from the end of the year of purchase

You can choose a gift card for a meaningful occasion or special date that you want to celebrate or highlight for the recipient. After receiving the gift, the recipient can contact us via the email address provided on the gift card, send us the gift code, and let us know their preferred date and time - any time within the validity period (three years from the end of the year of purchase). The gift card will also clearly state its expiration date. Once we receive the recipient's request, we will send them the independent photographers available in that city for the requested date and time. Once the chosen photographer confirms the booking by email, all they need to do is arrive at the agreed meeting point 15 minutes before the photoshoot begins.

3. After payment, you will receive the gift card as a PDF file

your personal message, greeting, or wishes,
the gift code required for activation,
the selected city,
and the validity period of the gift card.
the selected package and the amount paid.

4. How to purchase a gift card

To purchase a gift card, you follow exactly the same steps as for a regular booking. You can see this process on the "How It Works" page. The only difference is at the final step: before clicking "Send Request" , simply check the box marked "Gift Card" in the form.

5. Key gift card terms at a glance

Gift cards are issued by art trash GmbH and can be redeemed for a photoshoot booking with an independent photographer via the platform in the selected city.
The gift card covers the package selected at purchase. If the recipient chooses a more expensive package or additional services, the difference is paid by the recipient.
Cash payout of the gift card value is not possible; your statutory rights remain unaffected.
The gift card is transferable: anyone who presents the gift code can redeem it. Please treat the code like cash and share it only with the intended recipient. Lost or stolen codes can be blocked and reissued upon request as long as the card has not yet been redeemed.
Right of withdrawal: when you buy a gift card online, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving reasons, provided the gift card has not yet been redeemed. Once the recipient books a session for a specific date, the exclusion of withdrawal for scheduled leisure services applies (see our Cancellation Policy).
